| Graphics are used to schematize and simplify our world: Economic trends, HIV/AIDS progression, climate change, stock markets, political opinions, even happiness… Representing things that way erases the individual human beings from the picture. It is much easier to look into a graph than into the eyes of the ones suffering, struggling and dying. I have chosen a very aggressive approach, using projection of paint on canvas and almost cutting the background with deformed graphs leaving scars. |
