We travelled to the small village of Ogidi to record traditional songs and document the Yoruba culture.

People from Ogidi speak a distinct Yoruba dialect and have specific traditions and culture, including very unique songs.
We met members of traditional and secret societies linked to the old beliefs. The tradition is often passed orally from grand-mother to grand-children.

That made our project even more vital.

A CD will be produced to make this music available to a larger audience.
