“The Sword” is a dance drama, it speaks about violence, daily violence, domestic violence and, more globally, war. It explores the duality between the desire of peace and the more aggressive steps leading to violence and war in a poetic manner.
Nigeria is a society where violence is an issue, our aim was to address that question and to make people think and speak about it and act responsively.
"...People are dying
The world is crying
See the flames and cringe in fear
Open your eyes and smell the anger
All for what if I may ask?..."
